Delhi registered its warmest July night in five years on Friday as the minimum temperature reached 31°C. The last time the minimum temperature was higher was on July 1, 2021, as the temperature settled at 31.7°C. The India Meteorologist Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Saturday and Sunday, forecasting thunderstorms along with rain over the weekend.
