Gurugram-based TalkCharge Technologies has been ordered to refund wallet balances to customers as it issued the prepaid payment instruments without permission, RBI said on Thursday. It further said that TalkCharge issued a notice to customers, demanding the return of Cashback and cautioning that failure to do so will be reported to RBI. RBI clarified that it hasn't directed such actions.
