Gujarat HC denies Asaram's 20-day bail plea in 2013 rape case

The Gujarat High Court on Tuesday denied a 20-day temporary bail to Asaram, who is serving a life sentence in a 2013 rape case. Asaram had sought a temporary bail on the grounds that he had been granted parole by the Rajasthan High Court in another case. The Supreme Court granted him interim bail on heath grounds in January 2025.
