Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar took up farmers' issue at a function where Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also present and asked him, "Why are promises to farmers not fulfilled? What should we do to fulfil them?" He added, "Why are farmers stressed? This is a serious issue, and to take it lightly means that we're not being practical."
