Using social media daily for over 2.5 hrs linked to depression: Study
A study has found that social media use was among the most important predictors of self-reported depression. Researchers from the University of Cincinnati and Northwestern University observed a correlation between self-reported depression and daily social media scrolling of 2.5 hours or more. "It's a damning picture. Social media is harmful for individuals across the lifespan," a researcher said.
