50-day Iran war led to loss of $50 billion worth of oil: Report

Nearly 50 days into the US-Iran war, 500 million barrels of oil were knocked out of global energy markets, Reuters reported, citing Kepler data. With prices averaging $100/barrel, the loss in revenue amounts to roughly $50 billion. Meanwhile, Iran alone lost around $160 million/day in oil revenue under the US blockade, said ex-US Navy officer Scott Uehlinger to Al Jazeera.
