Ukraine has opened its first underground school, which is 6 metres (20 feet) below the ground, to protect students and staff from Russian drone and missile attacks. The new school has an initial enrolment of 300 pupils, but Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that would expand to two daily shifts of 450 each.
