Madhya Pradesh govt to give 5.8 mn students ₹600 each for buying uniforms

Madhya Pradesh's government will transfer ₹600 into bank accounts of 5.8 million students' parents for buying uniforms after its tender for uniforms was stalled due to legal challenges. State cabinet minister Chetanya Kasyap said ₹348 crore has been approved as uniform allowance. The allowances will be provided to students studying in Class 1 to 8 of government schools.
