Hackers steal data of 3 million US military personnel from Pentagon

A CNN report said hackers stole records of about 3 million US military personnel from the Pentagon, including Social Security numbers and personnel occupational specialties. The Pentagon admitted the stolen data was not encrypted. The breach comes days after hackers reportedly stole a large amount of sensitive personnel information belonging to officials at the FBI.
