A browser app, Cat Gatekeeper, that forces people to take a break while scrolling through social media like X, Instagram, TikTok, etc, has gone viral. Instead of sending a notification, it places a large cat on the screen as a timer goes off, which can be set by the user. It was built by Japanese indie developer ZOKUZOKU.
