Mars once had rivers of magma under its crust: Study

Mars, the fourth planet from the Sun, once had rivers of magma flowing beneath its crust, a new study has found. Researchers analysed data from NASA's InSight lander, which recorded seismic waves caused by meteorite impacts and Martian quakes. They found evidence of molten rock pooling about 24 km below the surface and stretching sideways for thousands of miles.
