Weightlifter Chanambam Rishikanta Singh, who won silver in the men's 60kg event at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, was born on July 5, 1998, in Manipur's Imphal West. A member of the Indian Army, Singh began his weightlifting journey in Imphal before training in Pune, Patiala and Bulgaria. He also won gold at the Commonwealth Championships in 2019.
