Union Cabinet has approved a six-lane Dwarka tunnel project worth ₹6,969.67 crore to decongest traffic in Delhi. The 8.1-km project will connect Dwarka Expressway (NH 248-BB) with Vasant Kunj in South Delhi. It'll benefit people commuting from Gurugram, Dwarka, IGI Airport, and West Delhi towards South Delhi. The project also includes a proposed elevated corridor between AIIMS and Mahipalpur.
