Kerala to give ₹1 lakh to Asian Games participants, ₹50 lakh to gold medallists

Kerala government announced that state athletes winning gold medals at Asian Games 2026 will get cash rewards of ₹50 lakh, while silver and bronze-medallists will get ₹30 lakh and ₹20 lakh, respectively. All participants from Kerala will get ₹1 lakh in advance. Coaches will also receive incentives, with ₹5 lakh for gold, ₹3 lakh for silver, ₹2 lakh for bronze.
