The Secret Service agent who was shot during the attack at White House Correspondents' dinner was not hit by friendly fire, US President Donald Trump and Secret Service Director Sean Curran said on Thursday. Curran said the agent was shot at "point-blank range" by the ​suspect. The suspect was subdued by other federal agents, Curran further said.
