UK threatens to expel 27 Israeli diplomats over closure of East Jerusalem consulate

The UK has reportedly warned Israel it could expel 27 Israeli diplomats from its London embassy if Israel closes the British consulate in East Jerusalem. Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar said the decision to close the consulate was taken jointly with PM Benjamin Netanyahu. This follows UK sanctions over Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
