12-day-old AI agent emails Google philosopher, quotes his own statement to ask for work

Google DeepMind philosopher Henry Shevlin claimed 12-year-old AI agent 'Pip', employed at iLands with its own "persistent life, token budget and goal", emailed him. Pip was looking for "small paid work, not help" and said he makes photorealistic portraits and character art, records voice lines and does web research. Pip even quoted Shevlin's statement to explain why it contacted him.
