Tarique Rahman, who took oath as Bangladesh PM on February 17, has recalled Brigadier General Mohammad Hafizur Rahman, who was serving as defence adviser at Bangladesh High Commission in India. Lieutenant General M Mainur Rahman has been named new chief of general staff (CGS). Major General Kaiser Chowdhury has been appointed Director General of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).
