Eight people, including five women and a minor girl, were killed and 12 were injured after a Bolero vehicle collided with ready-mix concrete truck in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool. The deceased were identified as pilgrims from Karnataka (Chikkamagaluru region). PM Narendra Modi's office announced ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh from PMNRF to next of kin of each deceased and ₹50,000 to injured.
