In a report, UK MP Rupert Lowe said that "at least 250,000 young white girls were subjected to repeated rape, gang rape, trafficking, torture, pregnancy, and forced Islamic conversion by Pakistani men in the country". "These crimes have been committed for decades," he said, adding, "The Rape Gang Inquiry was necessary because the state and its institutions have failed catastrophically."
