Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan said 15 people have died and seven remained missing after heavy rain triggered landslides and flooding across the state. Satheesan said 27 houses had been destroyed, 196 partially damaged, and 5,792 people shifted to 209 relief camps. He added that cleaning operations had begun in flood-affected and waterlogged areas in the state.
