Union Minister of State Kirti Vardhan Singh shared a video of an elephant calf named Maya, who was abandoned by her herd at one day old and later rescued in Kerala. "After the rescue, she took 40 days to stand on her own feet," Singh wrote. Maya was rescued by Kerala Forest Department and brought to an elephant rehabilitation centre.
