'Butcher of Bosnia', who was behind Europe's deadliest massacre since World War II, dies
Bosnian Serb general Ratko Mladic, who was serving a life sentence for genocide and war crimes committed during Bosnia's 1992-95 war, has died aged 84 in a prison hospital in the Hague. Mladic was held responsible for Europe’s deadliest massacre since World War II, the killing of around 8,000 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica in 1995.
