Town Hall in Delhi's Chandni Chowk to become global heritage centre

The Delhi government will redevelop the Town Hall in Chandni Chowk as a Global Heritage Centre to facilitate culture and tourism with a museum, CM Rekha Gupta said on Sunday. The redevelopment will preserve the building's Grade-I identity and will also cover the press building and park spread over 12,180 square metres. The complex was built between 1860 and 1866.
