HDFC Bank said the RBI has extended Keki Mistry's tenure as part-time Chairman by three months, until September 18, 2026, or until a successor is appointed. The extension comes as the bank continues its search for a new Non-Executive Chairman. Mistry took over in March after Atanu Chakraborty resigned, citing disagreements over certain developments and practices within the bank.
