The Indian Super League (ISL) 2026-2027, featuring 14 teams is likely to begin on September 4, reports said. The report comes a day after ISL clubs and the All India Football Federation (AIFF) held a meeting with Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. He reportedly approved ISL clubs' club-led model, under which AIFF will receive ₹15.4 annually.
