Poonawala backs IIT Bombay professor in student's death probe

Former BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala backed suspended IIT Bombay Dean professor Suryanarayana Doolla, saying allegations can't become a verdict. Doolla was suspended amid a probe into a student's suicide on September 18, after he reported the student for alleged phone use during an exam. IIT faculty from Delhi, Mumbai, and Madras also rallied in his support.
