South Korean ship hit by explosion in Strait of Hormuz

A Panama-flagged cargo vessel, HMM Namu, operated by a South Korean company, caught fire after an explosion while anchored in the Strait of Hormuz, officials said. Authorities are investigating whether the blast was caused by an attack or a drifting sea mine. No casualties were reported among its 24 crew members, including six South Koreans and 18 foreign nationals.
