The use of iPhone 16 has been declared illegal in Indonesia. The country has not yet issued a distribution permit to Apple after it failed to fulfil its investment commitment of $113 million, said Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita. He explained that Indonesia hasn't issued an IMEI certification, so an iPhone 16 purchased abroad cannot be activated in the country.
