Vipul Amrutlal Shah, producer of 'The Kerala Story 2 - Goes Beyond', approached the Kerala High Court, challenging pleas that seek a stay on the film's release. Shah denied allegations of creating 'communal tensions' and called pleas against the film "an abuse and misuse of the process of law". So far, three separate pleas have been filed against the film.
