Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor recently revealed how he said no to receiving the Padma Shri in 2017 if he weren't allowed to do so in his white chef's coat. Kapoor was initially instructed to wear formal traditional Indian attire as per the protocol. He eventually became the first person to receive the fourth-highest civilian award while wearing a chef's uniform.
