Kullu Dasehra ends with Rath Yatra, Lanka Dahan

The week-long International Kullu Dasehra concluded on Tuesday at Dhalpur ground in Kullu with Rath Yatra and Lanka Dahan rituals. Thousands pulled a decorated chariot carrying idols of Lord Raghunath, Sita and Hanuman. Unlike elsewhere, no effigies are burnt as Lanka Dahan symbolises the triumph of good over evil with symbolic coconut offerings since 2014.
