NASA astronaut Don Pettit shared a video of "wavy green auroras" from space calling it a "surreal" moment. "Orbiting over wavy green auroras! Moments like these are some of the most surreal in spaceflight," Pettit wrote on X. An aurora occurs when charged particles from the Sun interact with Earth's atmosphere and magnetic fields in the upper atmosphere.
