Hiring for AI roles in India surpassed overall recruitment in the country's IT industry in June, according to Naukri's monthly JobSpeak report. AI hiring rose 16% year-on-year, while overall IT hiring declined 3%. The insurance and consumer goods sectors saw the biggest increase in hiring during the month, while the banking and financial services sector recorded the sharpest decline.
