US, Iran give preliminary approval to Qatar-Pakistan compromise proposal: Report

According to a Moneycontrol report, the US and Iran have both given preliminary approval to a “compromise proposal” presented by Qatar and Pakistan. The proposed plan reportedly includes confidential inspections of Iranian nuclear sites by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and a partial concession involving $6 billion in Iranian funds frozen in Qatar.
