Australia's Maddinson returns to Test cricket after beating testicular cancer

Australia batter Nic Maddinson has returned to Test cricket after recovering from testicular cancer, which was diagnosed last year. The disease had spread to lymph nodes in his abdomen and a lung. Maddinson completed chemotherapy on July 14, 2025. He last played a Test for Australia in 2016 and is featuring in the first Test against South Africa in Durban.
