Pictures of Indian Captain Smit Machchhar receiving one of UAE's top civilian honours are circulating online, with some showing a large scar on his head from a blow delivered with crash axe aboard FlyDubai flight. His Omani co-pilot had attacked him in an attempt to carry out a 9/11-style attack, but Machchhar foiled the attempt by opening the cockpit door.
