Visually impaired students in Chandigarh make Diwali candles

As Diwali approaches, students at Institute for the Blind in Chandigarh are making candles, turning a festive activity into an opportunity to develop practical skills and earn an income. At a workshop organised by the institute, students learned to make and pack candles for sale in the market. The proceeds will help support institution’s activities and promote self-reliance among students.
