Supreme Court judge Justice JB Pardiwala got emotional while delivering the verdict allowing passive euthanasia for Harish Rana who has remained in persistent vegetative state for 13 years. Justice Pardiwala stated that Harish had once been "a bright young boy" pursuing his studies before he fell from the fourth floor of a building in which he suffered severe head injuries.
