Meta has begun unwinding its $2 billion acquisition of Chinese startup Manus AI, halting data sharing between the two companies, Bloomberg reported. The move follows a China's order issued about two months ago requiring divestment on national security grounds. Meta has also barred employees from using Manus tools for internal projects as it works to comply with the directive.
