New study shows Neanderthals and humans worked together

Research on Tinshemet Cave in Israel found Neanderthals and Homo sapiens directly interacted in the mid-Middle Palaeolithic Levant, sharing technology and developing similar cultural and burial practices. The analysis found multiple human groups maintained ongoing contact, making them more culturally similar over time. The study challenges earlier ideas that viewed the groups as largely separate.
