Cockroaches, lizards, expired items found at Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto facilities in Maharashtra

Maharashtra FDA has suspended the licences of 14 establishments linked to quick-commerce apps including Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart after a state-wide inspection drive uncovered a range of food-safety and hygiene violations. Apart from expired products, officers reported that facilities were dirty and infested with pests like cockroaches and lizards. Inspections were carried out at 86 facilities.
