Haryana and Rajasthan have ended a decades-long stalemate over the sharing of Yamuna waters after signing an MoU to implement water allocation under the 1994 Upper Yamuna River Board agreement. Rajasthan will now get its due water through an underground pipeline from Hathni Kund barrage during monsoon months. The MoU was signed in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah.
