BJP leader Bhanu Prakash has filed a complaint against actor Prakash Raj for mocking the Ramayana, accusing the actor of "hurting the religious feelings of the Hindu community". Seeking action, Bhanu Prakash's complaint claimed that Prakash Raj made "defamatory and malicious remarks" by "distorting the Ramayana". Further, actress Karate Kalyani has also filed a complaint, making similar claims.
