Arvind Kumar, the Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), told PTI that students at many engineering colleges in India "don't know anything about startups". He, however, added that the rate of failure of startups in the country is slowly declining. "I think awareness is happening but it has to be accelerated," Kumar added.
