Anti-national, following 1937 resolution: Shah on Congress' move on Vande Mataram
Reacting to Congress passing a resolution and deciding to sing only two stanzas of Vande Mataram, Home Minister Amit Shah said the move is anti-national. "I want to remind the nation that in 1937, by dividing Vande Mataram for the appeasement of Muslims, the Congress laid the foundation for the partition of the country," Shah stated.
