Microsoft is no longer making a personal AI chatbot

Microsoft is combining its consumer and workplace Copilot AI assistants into one product focused on business users. It will include features from the home version and will roll out in the coming weeks. The move marks a shift away from Microsoft's push to build a personal AI assistant, leaving the consumer chatbot market to rivals like OpenAI, Google and Meta.
