After the successful Artemis II moon mission, NASA has rolled out the core stage of its Space Launch System (SLS) rocket for the crewed Artemis III mission in 2027. The stage left Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans for Kennedy Space Center. Engineers moved the upper section, including fuel tanks and intertank, to the Pegasus barge for transport.
