A state-level committee in Karnataka has been tasked with implementing the government’s free bus pass scheme for rural journalists. Senior journalist Srinivas Nayak Indaje, president of the Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association, has been appointed to this committee. The initiative will provide complimentary bus passes for rural journalists.
