Scotch whisky gets cheaper in India

Scotch whisky prices have fallen in parts of India, including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Goa and Uttar Pradesh, after the India-UK trade agreement cut import duty on British whisky to 75% from 150%. The prices have dropped by around 10-15%, according to reports. The import duty on British whisky is scheduled to fall further to 40% over the next decade.
